When we think about women's history it is important
to remember the sacrifice that wives and mothers have made for their families.
Devoted wife Mary "Mollie" Miller lived inside Mammoth Cave with
her ailing husband from 1842-1843. Through life inside was very difficult,
it was hoped that the cave air would heal those stricken with tuberculosis.
