Entrepreneur and fourth generation female farmer Laura Freeman
has created the nationally marketed product called Laura's Lean Beef. Her
reduced-fat beef cattle are raised without antibiotics and steroids. She
began working on the lean beef idea in 1984 at her Clark County farm. Today,
her beef is sold from New York to Texas.
